Can you promise I won’t get confused or overwhelmed?
Pinky swears! I’ll show you step-by-step how to build your website, for example registering your domain, installing your template… Everything’s been developed with beginners in mind. The strategy I recommend: watch a little video, pause, do it on your backend, get excited by seeing your progress, and repeat.
When does it start?
You will get access to the course modules immediately.
Will my website really look as good as when a designer created it?
This is totally up to you. You get all the support you need and I’m there to give you feedback any time you ask for it, for example on your style guide or website structure. But of course, some people have a better eye for design than others. I would encourage you to embrace the process and don’t hesitate to send me your work to review.
What if I'm not tech-savvy? Will I still be able to follow along?
Absolutely! The course is designed with beginners in mind, and we provide step-by-step tutorials for all the tools and platforms we recommend. Plus, our support team is always here to help if you get stuck.
How will I be able to customize the website? Will it look exactly like the template website?
I built the template website with Showit, which allows you to build really anything you want. It offers 100% flexibility, from different headers to your own fonts, colors, images and more. I teach you all the settings and how to use the tool to create anything you want.
Can I add more content or delete pages?
Yes, of course! The template is just a guide. You can add as many pages as you want or delete them when you don’t need them. You have total control and flexibility.
How is this course different to other build-your-website courses?
First, it’s been especially designed for yoga teachers and coaches and with your needs and requirements in mind. Next, I’ve designed a template so you’ll see exactly what you’re going to create. And finally the level of support I provide is unique. I want to see you succeed and you get all the help you need.
Do I have to use Showit?
This training covers building a Showit website. Every single lesson is based on doing this within Showit. So, I would have to say yes, you’ll need Showit.
What types of tools & services do I need to buy?
You’ll need to buy your domain if you don’t have that yet and sign up for a plan with Showit. I recommend the “Showit and Basic Starter Blog” plan which is $24/month (billed annually). You might also want to purchase some fonts unless you want to use free Google fonts, I give you recommendations for that. You don’t need Photoshop or any other premium tools. I sometimes recommend apps and tools that could make your life easier, but they are always optional.
How will I access the course?
To access the Blissful Websites course you will log into a membership site where you can follow along with the video lessons and download the attached files. You can also view the videos through an app.
How long do I have access to the course?
This is for life, friend! As long as the internet is around, you’ll have access to all Blissful Websites course materials. I’m not planning on going anywhere, and I’m here to make sure this investment pays off for you.
I don’t think I have time for this. How long will it take?
I didn’t create Blissful Websites to be a huge, bulky system to gather digital dust in your inbox – instead, I aim to give actionable, to-the-point info so you can get your website up in 30 days or less. The course is designed to be implemented as you go, and if you commit to one to two hours a few days a week, you should have no problem completing the course in 30 days.
