If you’ve been thinking about starting to teach online but you haven’t started yet because it feels overwhelming, you are not alone. But I’m here to tell you that you can totally do this and to prove it, I have a very inspiring guest joining us for this episode!
April Rose is an Austin-based artist, teacher, and performer of Bellydance, fusion dance, frame drum, and finger cymbals.
When the pandemic hit, she had to stop traveling the world, teaching at events, and she also closed her brick-and-mortar dance studio and moved online. She started teaching on Zoom and now she’s creating a 12-month online coaching program for aspiring dancers, which is going to be amazing!
Here’s what we discuss:
- Where April found her students and how she interacts with them
- Why it’s important to honor the way you’re feeling when it comes to sharing content
- Setting goals for next year and planning how to reach them
- How April has dealt with negative comments and doubt from others
