A few weeks ago, I asked ChatGPT what the best strategy is for yoga teachers to grow their business in 2025.

I was curious (and honestly a little nervous) to see what it would say. Would it tell me everything I’ve been teaching for years is outdated? Or that yoga teachers should all start dancing on TikTok?

But the answer was actually really good. It reflected so much of what I’ve seen work in real life, and it sparked a few thoughts about what’s still true, what’s changed, and what really matters in the yoga business space right now.

The Model That Still Works (and Why It’s Not Outdated)

ChatGPT said that the best model for yoga teachers is still a simple one:

offer a free training or challenge that leads into a premium group program, somewhere around $500 to $1000.

And I completely agree. This approach still works beautifully, because it’s sustainable, focused, and designed around transformation, not volume.

People are getting tired of low-cost memberships and endless class libraries that don’t lead to real progress. They want structure, guidance, and connection.

Now, if you already have a membership and it’s doing well, that’s amazing — keep it going. But it can also make sense to add something more premium on top, where students can go deeper and get more support. That’s where the real transformation happens, and it’s where your time and energy have the most impact.

Content Still Matters — But It’s About Depth, Not Quantity

Another thing ChatGPT highlighted — and I totally agree — is how important consistent content still is.

But the kind of content that works has changed. It’s no longer about posting every day or trying to beat the algorithm. What matters now is creating content that actually helps people and builds trust over time.

I love using platforms like Pinterest or YouTube because the content lasts. Someone might find a video or blog post I created two years ago and still sign up for one of my programs today. That doesn’t happen on Instagram, your posts there disappear within hours.

So, if you’re creating content, think about longevity. Focus on one platform that feels good for you and that you can sustain over time. You don’t have to do everything. Quality and consistency always win over quantity.

The Online Space Has Changed — And So Has Your Audience

ChatGPT also mentioned that the market is more saturated now, and that it takes longer to build trust.

And while that’s true, I think there’s more to it.

It’s not just that there are more yoga teachers online, your audience has changed, too. They’ve seen hundreds of offers, joined challenges, downloaded meditations… they’re not looking for more information.

They’re looking for connection.

They want to learn from someone they resonate with, someone who feels real, relatable, and genuinely cares. And that’s what makes you stand out.

It’s not about sounding more professional or following every marketing trend. It’s about showing up as yourself, sharing your story, and letting your voice and perspective shine through. That’s how trust is built and that’s what your students are craving.

Strategy Is Important — But So Is Trusting Yourself

If I could add one thing to ChatGPT’s advice, it would be this: yes, strategy is essential, but you also have to trust yourself.

You can ask ChatGPT, or your coach, or a friend what the “best” thing to do is — what to charge, when to launch, or how to structure your program — but at some point, you have to check in with yourself.

For example, when I’m setting a price for a new offer, I start by looking at it logically. But then I notice how each option feels. Sometimes one number feels calm and clear, while another one makes me hesitate or second-guess myself.

When that happens, I take it as a sign to slow down. I’ll sit with it for a bit, write down a few options, and see which one feels grounded and right in my body. That’s usually the one I go with.

Because running your business isn’t just about logic, it’s also about intuition. And when something feels right, it’s so much easier to commit to it and move forward with confidence.

The Balance of Intuition and Strategy

That’s really the key. You need both.

Intuition keeps you aligned — it helps you make decisions that feel authentic and sustainable.

Strategy gives you structure — it helps you turn that inner clarity into a business that actually works.

Final Thoughts

So yes, ChatGPT got a lot right.

But what it can’t teach is the human part.

It can’t tell you what truly feels right for you, or how to connect with your students in a way that’s real and personal.

That’s your part to bring.

And when you combine that inner clarity with smart, simple strategy — that’s when your yoga business starts to flow.
