The end of the year is always my favorite because I can look back on the whole year and really feel the progress I’ve made, and acknowledge the things I want to change the following year.

Looking back at 2022
2022 was HARD. My mother died after a long time being sick, and looking back that whole situation was really stressful. Overall, I was working a lot less this year. I stopped doing website design for clients. I loved working with my clients but those projects always took up a lot of my time and I ended up working late and on weekends and this didn’t feel good anymore.
And I’ve grown more into business coaching which I love.
I focused on one main offer, the Blissful Biz Incubator. I didn’t do any super big launches, and I only created one new offer, Blissful Systems & Rituals. I did a soft launch where I presold it, but not enough people bought so I didn’t create the course. It was definitely for the best and I’m actually really grateful that it turned out the way it did because it gave me more time to update the content inside the Blissful Biz Incubator.
I hired an amazing copy coach, Amanda, who is supporting my students with writing their copy so that it really helps them sell and grow their businesses, and I also hired a Mindset Coach for monthly calls inside the Blissful Biz Incubator to help with fears, limiting beliefs, and all sorts of other mindset issues.
My Goals for 2023
For 2023, I want to bring in another support coach and I also want to update the trainings inside the Blissful Biz Incubator and add new trainings on sales and setting up funnels.
My clarity around where I want to go in my business, what I want to teach, and who I want to work with has improved so much! Yes, I don’t have it all figured out and I don’t think anyone ever has 100% clarity about everything, but each step forward is progress, so embrace it!
Currently, I’m in Portugal, and after 8 weeks of traveling in my campervan I’ve now rented a small bungalow in Ericeira, a cute little town about an hour north of Lisbon, and am settling in and trying out living here. I have a profitable business focusing on one main premium offer, so what’s next? Where do I want to go? What’s my plan?
I know I want to move away from Hamburg next year. I know I’m going to grow my business. But I still feel unsure about a lot of things – I wasn’t able to make any decisions in the last weeks, and even just choosing where to drive next was a struggle.
So, I decided to go with the flow. I embraced my feminine side to approach things, which has always been really difficult for me. I’m good at making plans and managing things, but suddenly I just couldn’t. This really stressed me out because I always like having a plan, and I really didn’t know my next steps.
I had to relinquish control, to just flow, just travel, and get to the point where I just trusted my intuition, that it would all work out.
The same applied to my business. Suddenly I was questioning everything I’ve done so far and everything I’ve learned like masculine sales techniques like hour-long webinars. I’m experimenting with doing things differently, finding my voice, and showing up more authentically and less planned. This was such a difficult time for me as I was grieving, feeling low a lot of the time, and the uncertainty was really getting to me!
But day by day, it feels like I’m getting a little bit more clarity.
For next year, I sat down and wrote my future self a letter, with the intention of opening it on December 31st of 2023. I wrote down everything that I desire for 2023, what I want to accomplish, how I want to live, how I want to feel, and what I want to experience. I also planned out my business year and made ambitious financial predictions – I planned out my dream revenue and how I would make that happen.
I’m open to expand. I’m open to receive. I’m open to go all “woowoo” and manifest and use journaling and work on my mindset, and I’m also improving my structures and systems and products because without all that it’s not going to work.
It’s only because of all the work that I’ve done in previous years and the offers that I created, that I was able to survive this year – work less, and still increase my revenue. This didn’t just happen. It’s because I created a strong, grounded foundation for my business, from my brand, to my offers, to sales.
This is what I teach you inside the Incubator. To create a business with a strong foundation, that’s going to serve you for years and years to come. A business that adapts to your lifestyle, to how you want to live, what you want to do, how much you want to earn, and is aligned with your values and how you want to show up.
