Building an online wellness business can feel like standing at the foot of a mountain, unsure of which path to take. As someone who’s passionate about helping yoga teachers and heart-led entrepreneurs build their businesses online, I want to share two complete month-by-month roadmaps for 2025 – clear pathways designed specifically for yoga teachers and wellness entrepreneurs.

These roadmaps emerged from real experiences – both my own journey and those of hundreds of yoga teachers and coaches I’ve worked with. When I recently shared them with my Blissful Biz Academy students in our Plan Your Year workshop, the shift in energy was immediate. People who had been scattered in their approach suddenly saw their path forward with clarity.

This isn’t about following a rigid formula – it’s about having a clear framework that you can adapt to your unique vision and lifestyle. Whether you’re taking your first steps in the online space or are ready to scale your existing business, these roadmaps will show you exactly what to focus on, month by month.

I’ve created two distinct paths because I know that many of you are at different stages in your business journey. You might be just starting out, perhaps transitioning from in-person teaching to the online space. Or maybe you’ve been building your business for a while and are ready to scale up your offerings.

Path #1: Low-Ticket to Signature Course

This first roadmap is perfect for you if you’re:

  • Just starting your online business journey
  • Still defining your teaching methodology
  • Building your confidence in the digital space
  • Looking to grow your audience from scratch
  • Want to validate your offerings before creating a bigger program

Here’s your month-by-month guide:

January: Nail Your Niche and Brand Message

This month is about understanding the transformation you provide. For example, if you’re a yoga teacher, maybe you specifically help women over 40 restore their energy through gentle yoga and meditation. This clarity will make everything else so much easier.

February: Build Your Website

Keep it simple – a beautiful, converting website needs just four pages: home, about, services, and contact. The key is clear messaging that speaks directly to your ideal client’s challenges and desires.

March: Create Your First Low-Ticket Offer

Launch something simple like a $27 meditation bundle or a $47 morning routine guide. The goal isn’t massive profit – it’s about building confidence in selling and creating something valuable that’s easy for people to say yes to.

April: Amplify Your Visibility

Choose your primary content platform – whether that’s a blog, YouTube, or a podcast – and commit to consistent, valuable content. This isn’t just about posting regularly; it’s about developing the muscle of showing up consistently and creating deep, meaningful content that serves your audience long-term.

May: Develop Your Signature Course

This is where all your expertise comes together. Focus on getting crystal clear on your course promise and mapping out your curriculum. Use the insights from your low-ticket offer to shape something substantial enough to deliver real transformation, but focused enough that your students don’t feel overwhelmed.

June: Soft Launch Your Course

Do a beta launch, pre-selling your course before it’s fully created, then deliver content week by week. Whether you choose to teach live or pre-record, this approach lets you refine your content based on real student feedback while creating an intimate learning experience.

July: Gather Testimonials

Focus on serving your first group of students exceptionally well and collecting their success stories.

August: Create Your Evergreen Funnel

Transform your live course into an automated system. Don’t let the word “funnel” intimidate you – this can be as simple as a well-crafted email sequence that nurtures relationships with people who’ve purchased your low-ticket offer.

September: Run Your First Major Launch

Host a live content event – either a powerful masterclass or an engaging challenge. This is your opportunity to showcase your expertise and create powerful breakthrough moments for your audience.

October: Focus on Content and Traffic

Take it slower this month, maintaining consistent content creation and driving traffic to your funnel.

November: Create Urgency

Run a strategic flash sale, perhaps during Black Friday, to give your fence-sitters that extra push to join your programs.

December: Optimize and Plan

Continue content creation and funnel optimization while analyzing your year’s data to prepare for the future.

Path #2: High-Ticket to Low-Ticket Funnel

This second roadmap is ideal if you:

  • Already have an engaged audience, even if it’s small
  • Have experience teaching or coaching
  • Feel confident in your methodology and results
  • Have testimonials from in-person work
  • Want to maximize your impact and income right from the start

Here’s your monthly breakdown:

January: Structure Your High-Ticket Program

Create your premium offering and set up your application page. This might be a 3-month intensive coaching program or a comprehensive teacher training.

February: Pre-sell to Your Warm Audience

Reach out personally to your existing network through methods like video sales letters. Remember, you don’t need massive numbers – I started with just 3 sales in my first high-ticket program launch.

March: Serve Your First Client Group

Focus intensively on your first students, refining your methodology and gathering powerful testimonials.

April: Host Your First Live Event

Run a 3-day bootcamp or in-depth masterclass to showcase your expertise and give potential clients a taste of your teaching style.

May-June: Build Momentum

Maintain consistent content creation and audience building, establishing yourself as an authority in your space.

July: Create Your Low-Ticket Offer

Design an accessible entry point that gives people a taste of your teaching style while enhancing the perceived value of your premium program.

August: Build Your Systems

Create an evergreen funnel connecting your low-ticket offer to your high-ticket program.

September-October: Optimize Your Funnel

Focus on content creation and refining your automated systems.

November: Run a Flash Sale

Create excitement and urgency around your offers.

December: Plan for Growth

Wrap up the year with continued content creation and strategic planning.

Looking back over both paths, one crucial element weaves through every month: consistent content creation and system building. This isn’t optional – it’s essential for your long-term success. Your content gets you discovered, establishes your authority, and creates momentum that builds over time.

Remember, these roadmaps are guidelines, not rigid rules. You can mix and match elements or move things around between months. The beauty of having your own business is that you can adapt these frameworks to fit your unique situation and lifestyle goals.
