I'm Susanne!

hey there

A few months ago I said I was done with memberships. And then I went and launched mine again anyway. In this post I want to take you behind-the-scenes of what I did and my reasons behind it.

The Blissful Biz Hive has had a few lives. I started the first version back in 2018, grew it to over 100 members, and loved it. Then I closed it to focus on the Blissful Biz Academy. I brought it back in 2023, got to around 20 members, closed it again. Brought it back at the end of 2025 as a downsell at the back end of a launch — sent a few emails, and that was basically it.

I had never actually launched it properly. Never done the work of showing people why it mattered.

And the product itself had evolved in a way that felt a bit scattered. Solid content, trainings I was proud of, but without a truly unified thread running through it. And I’d set up monthly deep-dive trainings as a regular feature, which sounds great until you’re the one who has to decide what to create every single month. That open-ended obligation quietly wore me down more than I admitted at the time.

So I hit a real crossroads: close the Hive for good, or take everything I’d learned and finally build the version it was always meant to be?

What Pushed Me Over the Edge

Two things happened at roughly the same time.

The first was that I joined a premium program about funnels and low-ticket offers. It was a good program with real information in it. But I sat through hours of content about manufactured urgency, fake countdown timers, and complicated tripwires, and I felt so tired. So genuinely exhausted by the whole approach. I don’t want this in my business. I don’t want to trick anyone. I want honest offers, transparent pricing, and simple commitments that people can end whenever they want.

The more I thought about what that looked like, the more the membership model kept coming back to me. Because a membership done right is one of the most straightforward and fair arrangements you can have with your audience. You join, you get access to everything, you can leave whenever it stops serving you. No pressure, no manufactured scarcity. Just: here’s what I’ve built, here’s what it costs, stay as long as it makes sense.

The second thing was a rainy weekend in Madrid visiting my sister.

She was working. I only had my phone. It was raining too hard to go outside. So I found myself just sitting with this question I’d been circling for weeks: what would it actually look like to build a membership I genuinely believed in?

I opened ChatGPT and started brainstorming. And at some point in that conversation, the phrase “honey flow” came up and everything just clicked. I built the entire curriculum outline on my phone that afternoon. By the time she finished working, I had something I was genuinely excited about for the first time in a while.

What the Honey Flow Method Actually Is

The Honey Flow Method is the curriculum inside the Blissful Biz Hive, and what makes it different from anything I’ve built before is that it’s completely sequential. Every step connects to the next. You always know what you’re building, why, and what comes after. No guessing, no paralysis, no staring at a blank screen wondering where to start.

It’s four steps.

Step 1: Your Honey Flow Offer. Before anything else, you need something to sell. Using my AI-powered framework, you’ll find your topic, shape your transformation, write your sales page, and get it live — even if this is the very first thing you’ve ever created online. The yoga teachers who make money online are not the ones with the most original ideas. They’re the ones who get something real into the world and iterate from there. You can honestly get it done in a week.

Step 2: Your Audience Growth Funnel. Once you have an offer, you need a way to consistently bring people to it. This step is your freebie, your landing page, your tripwire, and an email sequence I call the Pollination Path — which takes someone from “I just found you” all the way to purchasing your offer. I give you done-for-you copy and exact templates, because staring at a blank email sequence is one of the most effective ways to lose weeks of your life.

Step 3: Your Content Engine. Creating content without a strategy is exhausting and it rarely converts. This step gives you a 30-day content plan, Canva templates, and AI prompts that are designed to sound like you — not like a robot, not like generic yoga teacher number 4,000 on Instagram. Every post has a purpose and leads somewhere. That’s what makes the difference between content that builds a business and content that just keeps you busy.

Step 4: Your Sales Momentum. This is where most people fall down, including me sometimes. You build everything, you launch, you make some sales — and then you go quiet because you don’t have a plan for what comes next. Sales Momentum is about building your promotional calendar in advance: your buzz campaigns, your flash sales, your seasonal offers. Something you plan for, not something you panic about.

And there are templates for absolutely everything, email sequences, sales pages, landing pages, social media posts, Canva layouts, all done for you and ready to customise. Because the distance between knowing what to do and actually doing it is often just having a starting point.

The Skool Mistake I Had to Fix First

Before I could launch properly, I had to untangle something I’d quietly broken earlier this year.

I’d decided to make the Hive freemium. A free tier to bring people in, then a paid upgrade for membership content. And then without really thinking it through I moved all my standalone courses and programs into the same Skool community to keep everything in one place. It felt clever at the time.

What actually happened was that people joined the free tier and never found the upgrade option. From my sales page, people would land in the community, join for free, and that was it. Conversions were quiet in a way that had nothing to do with the offer and everything to do with the setup.

So I untangled it. I went back to two separate Skool groups: the Blissful Biz Community, where all my standalone courses and programs live, and the Blissful Biz Hive, which is the membership only. If you want access to the Honey Flow Method, the Hive is the only place you’ll find it.

Sometimes your offer isn’t the problem at all. Sometimes it’s just that the door is hard to find.

What Happened When I Actually Launched It

With the curriculum rebuilt and the setup sorted, I hosted a masterclass. 280 people signed up. Twenty-two new members joined in that first launch. We are now 42 people inside the Blissful Biz Hive.

The marketing is rarely the problem. When the offer is right, when you believe in it, and when the door is easy to open, things move.

Why the Membership Model Is Actually the Fairest One

What I got confused about before was this: I was diagnosing a problem with how memberships are usually positioned, not with the model itself. Most memberships are sold as something vague and ongoing — come for the community, get monthly trainings, access a library of content. There’s no clear arc, no destination, no answer to: what will I have actually built in three months?

The Honey Flow Method changes that. You join and you follow a sequence. There’s a beginning, a middle, and an end result — a real, functioning online business that brings in money. It’s not a library you browse. It’s a curriculum you work through, at your own pace, for as long as you need.

And when you want more one-on-one support, you can book a call with me directly inside the Hive for $250. No long-term package, no six-month commitment when you don’t know what life looks like in three months. Just: I need help with this specific thing, let’s talk.

That feels honest to me. That feels like the kind of business I want to run.

The Blissful Biz Hive is open now. If you’re a yoga teacher who wants to build real online income without the overwhelm and the fake urgency, come and build your Honey Flow with us.
