If you’re a yoga teacher, Pilates instructor, or wellness entrepreneur, you’ve probably asked yourself this at some point:

Recently, a Pilates teacher told me exactly that:

“I just don’t think my audience would invest in a premium offer.”

And I get it. But here’s what I told her — and what I want to share with you:

It’s not about whether people will pay.

It’s about what you’re offering, and how you lead them there.

You Don’t Have to Teach Business to Charge Premium Prices

Let’s get something out of the way:

You don’t have to be a business coach to sell a premium offer.

You don’t have to teach people how to make money.

You just have to help them experience a transformation that feels valuable to them.

Here’s an example from my own life:

I once paid over $1,000 for a program from a nutrition coach. It was focused on weight loss and included a personal macro plan, a few recipes, maybe five or six calls, and some pre-recorded content.

To be honest? It wasn’t even that helpful. I didn’t get amazing results.

But I didn’t feel like I had overpaid.

Why? Because it felt structured, personal, and supportive. It gave me hope. It helped me believe in a possible outcome. That’s the power of a well-designed offer.

You can create something even better — more impactful, more aligned, and more transformational.

The Wellness Industry Is Booming — Here’s the Proof

If you’re still worried that people “aren’t spending” on yoga, Pilates, or wellness programs, let’s look at some actual numbers:

My Bali Story: Why I Didn’t Wait to Create My $1,000 Program

When I started my business in Bali, I was surrounded by yoga teachers who were just getting by. They were teaching drop-in classes, freelancing at retreats, earning what they could.

If I had only looked around me and asked:

“Would these people pay $1,000 for a course?”

I probably would’ve said no.

But instead of focusing on who wouldn’t buy it, I started asking:

Who is this really for?

What transformation am I offering?

And how can I lead the right people there?

That mindset shift changed everything.

I launched my $1,000 program and have since sold it to over 150 students around the world. Not because I had a huge audience. But because I had a clear path and a belief in what I was offering.

Why You Need a Premium Offer (Especially with a Small Audience)

Let’s talk numbers for a second.

If you want to earn $5,000/month, and you’re only selling a $37 product…

You’ll need to make 135+ sales every month. That’s a LOT.

Even if you’re selling something for $117, that’s still 43+ sales a month.

That kind of business model depends on a large audience, paid ads, and a whole lot of content and tech.

Now compare that to a $997 program.

To make $5,000/month, you only need 5 sales.

Even if you’re just starting out, a $500 program is a great place to begin. You’ll grow your confidence, get your first success stories, and raise your price when it’s time.

Premium pricing gives you more freedom, more breathing room, and more time to show up fully for your clients.

It’s not about being salesy.
