You’ve got big dreams. You feel an aching sensation in your heart that there’s more you want to be, create, and experience. But there’s just one problem… you’re already exhausted. Your to-do list seems to grow by the minute and it was already 17 miles long!

Can you relate?

This was me 2 years ago.

I was ticking things off my to-do list and having moderate success, but everything felt heavy, like walking through mud.

My to-do list wasn’t the problem. I was ticking things off like you wouldn’t believe it, but the magic was missing!

So what changed? How did I rediscover the bliss in my business and start bringing new ideas to the table?

Well, I took off in my camper van on a road trip to Sweden and Norway, worked decidedly less, and reconnected to my vision and creativity. This trip changed everything.

I found bliss running my business again, I had new ideas, I found a community of like-minded entrepreneurs in a coaching program I invested in, and I came up with the Blissful Biz Incubator, my best-selling offer to date.

All while working a lot less than before, those 3 summer months were magic.

Things started to flow again.

This made me determined to find my perfect balance. I wanted to have the time to travel, hike, explore new places, and also still grow my business.

So what did I do to find this balance? I was already pretty organized, but I know there’s always room for improvement, so that’s what I did.

I improved my systems to get more done in less time and I implemented rituals to help me stay calm, present, and joyful while still growing my business.

The results? I’m on track to increase my revenue by 50% this year while working around 30% less.

Here are just 3 things I did:

#1 I Took Charge Of My Time

Sometimes it feels like time is just running by and we don’t have enough of it, and then suddenly we’re bored and each second feels like a minute. Time can definitely be a strange concept.

The thing is, especially as new entrepreneurs, we tend to spend way too much time on tasks. After all, time is all we have to invest when we’re first getting set up.

The problem with not taking charge of your time is that you start to tell yourself things like “I don’t have time for this”, “I’m running out of time” or “There just isn’t enough time”. These words have power because you start to believe them.

So, instead, I started telling myself “I have all the time I need to do what I want to get done”.

When I had just one hour available, there was no room for tinkering around with tasks for hours on end, and that was the time I would give myself to finish that task.

I took back the power and I refused to be stressed by time and deadlines.

My goal is to be present at all times in whatever I’m doing. When I’m walking my dog, I’m present with her and not distracted by a podcast or on my phone. When I’m cooking/eating, I’m present and focus only on providing my body with nutrients.

When I’m working on a task for work, I’m very intentional about what specific task I’m working on – I don’t just sit at my desk without a plan and work on the first thing that comes to mind. I focus on what I want to achieve, what the outcome will be, and how long I will work on that task.

Don’t just work on something open-ended, because if you don’t control your time, time will control you. Not having a plan for what you’re doing in your business is a recipe for overwhelm and exhaustion because you need to have a plan so you know what to prioritize, and what’s actually important in your business.

#2 I Started Meditating Again Regularly

I already had a meditation practice, but it got a bit inconsistent. I meditated daily for a few days and then I stopped for weeks.

After I got back to meditating every day, the benefits all came back to me. I was calmer, less reactive, and felt more inspired, with ideas flowing to me.

I know some people resist meditation because they don’t see the value in it, they can’t get themselves to sit still, or anytime they’ve tried it — they never know if they’re ‘doing it right’ and get frustrated and quit.

Personally, I can relate to all of those challenges. That’s why I keep my practice super simple. I don’t listen to guided meditations or do anything fancy. I wake up, drink some water, and then I get back on my bed, sit down on a cushion, and set a timer on my phone for 20 minutes. Sometimes I’m done before the 20 minutes and I embrace that, but most days I do my 20-minute meditation and my days are so much better for it.

#3 I Reconnected With My Vision

Before my trip, I was working all the time. But I was working IN my business, not ON it. I was disconnected from my bigger vision – to my WHY.

I realized that if I’m not working on something meaningful, something that challenges me to be more, do more, and give more, I start to feel lost.

So, I doubled down on my ambition.

I invested 20K in a coaching program and started connecting with people who already did what I wanted to do. I got myself in the room with multiple 6-figure and 7-figure entrepreneurs and this step shifted things so much for me.

I suddenly saw what was possible, I started to believe in myself, my business, and in what’s possible once more.

I’m super excited to share with you everything that I have learned so that you too can finally build a solid business foundation and establish systems to help you grow your business beyond your wildest dreams, without the overwhelm or exhaustion.

So, I’m launching a new offer for you to work with me, Blissful Biz Systems & Rituals.

I’m so excited to teach you my systems and rituals and help you set up your business so you can get more done in less time and say goodbye to overwhelm and exhaustion.
