The last year has been extraordinary for yoga studios & teachers and has been really hard for a lot of you I know – but there have also been opportunities. I’m excited to share with you the story of my guest in this episode. I’m talking to Kayse Gehret, the founder of Soulstice Mind & Body Spa, a healing art studio based in Northern California.
Founded in 2012, Kayse opened 4 studios over the next 8 years, until the pandemic shut down operation for nearly a full year. Today, in addition to bodywork, meditation, yoga, and more, they now offer virtual group classes and online courses to a worldwide audience. Kayse’s story is so inspirational and I can’t wait for you to meet her.
Here’s what we discuss:
- Kayse’s transition to teaching yoga online & how she dealt with tech overwhelm
- 3 tips for teaching a great yoga zoom class
- How Kayse markets herself, and the importance of utilizing your email list
- Mindset issues that Kayse sees the most often and has had to overcome herself
